The junior smartphone from the Huawei Mate 30 series will give a head start to even modern flagships. A review from Sunday21.
Like the older model, the Huawei Mate 30 also features a quad-camera called "Halo ring design". What's interesting is that these four modules are slightly different from what we can see in the older version of the device. The main rear camera module has 40 MP + 16 MP (extra wide) + 8 MP (telephoto) and the new "Laser Focus" module, whose name speaks for itself. The Self-camera in this device also contains a 24 megapixel sensor. The smartphone is available in six colors: black, light green, silver, purple, dark green and orange, and can also be ordered from the exclusive Mate 30 RS Porsche Design. As you know, the device is well protected from moisture and various dusts, it is made with IP53 protection standard. We also know that the main chipset in your smartphone is a well-known, powerful Kirin 990.
Other internal parameters, features and price for Huawei Mate 30.
The gadget has a larger screen than the older version, it has a size of 6.62 inches, supports a resolution of 1080x2340 dots, and is equipped with an OLED display that supports HDR10 and DCI-P3. Interestingly, the smartphone has a smaller frontal cutout than the Huawei Mate 30 PRO, it uses another 3D module to recognize the gestures of its owner. The device also has a 4200 mAh battery, with the ability to quickly charge 40 W. The device works with the Android 10 operating system, supported by the EMUI 10 shell, but now it is unclear some details about updates, given recent events and the conflict between the brand Huawei and Google. The model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, as well as 5G module support will cost about 800 Euros, for version 4G there is no information yet. So far, there is no exact start date for sales on the world market, presumably it will be the beginning or end of October. Huawei is releasing flagships that are ahead of their time.
