New from Jo Malone, Poppy&Barley perfume with elements of surprise and contrast. Review by Sunday21.
In September Jo Malone London relaunched with a limited edition of The English Fields 2018. Famous perfume master Matilda Bijaoui created a completely new Poppy&Barley fragrance, which was a test for her creativity. Perfumed water turned out to be very amazing in the end. The contrast in perfumery is similar to the publications of the famous Giorgio Morandi. There is a poppy, which is quite unusual, similar to soft watercolor paper, you can hear echoes of light rain, green chords and the end of summer, to continue the autumn pores. Also painted with an amazing background of violet flowers? in a blurred form? with young pink sepals, it becomes tangible and compacted, but not as in perfumes that the brand has produced before. Here, the poppies sound pretty blurry, only at the end of the perfumed water finds its full potential and opens up. Everyone loves this abstract fragrance composition.
Barely noticeable fragrance Poppy&Barley takes its place in the collection of Jo Malone.
As in previous fragrances in Poppy&Barley there is a composition, barely perceptible on the skin, but if someone catches this wonderful fragrance, they will fall in love forever. It is best used during working hours, when you need a good but not quite catchy perfume for every day. It is suitable for everyday routine tasks. It's quite simple and not extraordinary. It's called a white shirt, there aren't many perfumes of this kind, but they always take honorable places in the releases from the world brands. You hardly want to buy it at once, you need to approach it more subtly, try it on your skin, walk with it until you smell pleasant poppies, we are sure that you will like it. Poppy&Barley is available in two bottles of 30 and 100 milliliters and can be purchased for $122 from online retailers, as well as with shower gels at $35 for one.
