Even in ancient times, special herbal smokers were created, which were burned for sacrifices, used in various rituals. Fragrant oils and ointments were created from natural herbs, which first treated people, and then they just became a complement to women's and men's everyday accessories. The ubiquitous trade between Greeks, Romans and Persians gave impetus to this industry. Already in the XII century, due to the large number of trade routes, began to continue creating perfumes, the creation of which was processed spices brought from Eastern countries. In the second half of the XIV century, there appeared the first female perfume on an alcohol basis, using aromatic oils, spices and spices. It is an interesting fact that in the XVI century perfumed gloves were used, at that time they were very popular.

At the beginning of the 18th century, the first ever cologne for men appeared, by the way it was bought even by Napoleon Bonaparte himself, and this number was about 60 bottles per month. In the tenth years of the 20th century modeling and perfume business merged into a single industry, now the perfume began to complement the series of emerging fashion clothes. In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel released perfume under the sign "Chanel N5", which is still considered something legendary. In the early 20's aldehydes appear, that is, the fragrances begin to produce synthetically, and then there was a huge influx of perfume. In the 50's France becomes a leader in the production and release of fragrances, but they also begin to compete with other countries. Further, with the development of perfume technology began to take its place in various fragrances, for example, with Ambra, sea motifs, green bouquets and so on. There is no limit to perfection every year, whole lines of new fragrances come out, the industry is developing further and will continue to do so.
